Sally Taylor, Creative Director for teens in Tech Labs and founder of & CEO Sally creative has released Google Apps + for Mac users. The application is very simple, however. "I just moved the browser," says he, not native app. "
Yes, we know that the Fluid app. can be used for pretty much the same thing – that is, if you prefer to do the work yourself. But Taylor said the fluid will not be enough for what he planned to do with the application next week.
Yes indeed?
The new app (direct download) requires Google chrome and Mac OS X, although a small number of users report problems with installations on a lion. For what it's worth I'm running Leo here and there have been no problems.
Taylor is a member of the Google Developer programs + and has in the past, access to private (see 2-update Hmm), but this app was built using a Web interface.
He also notes that this application is only a temporary solution. He works on Google + Desktop reached through true native app and would like something at the same time.
One of the problems I've found so far in using the app is that when you click the links to external Web sites, you're kind of stuck there. There is no way to click the back button to return to Google +.
I must admit, I'm not sure if there is a major advantage of using the application, but I'm curious that Taylor will do with it further.
However, if you like ourselves obsessed with Google + (ahem, cough, cough), interesting to put the app icon into your Mac Dock as a reminder to keep your eye on social networks and the constant ever enticing, bright red notice.
Thanks, Louis Gray

Update, 9: 20 AM Thu.: Hmm, this is interesting. Google asked Taylor to remove comment on Google + where he stated that he had access to the private API. They said that he does not. Taylor also emailed me to let me know that he removed the misleading comment "from his profile.
