The one who gives the movement will see its share buttons multiply through the Internet

One detail that caught my eye in LinkedIn in the earnings announcement today is that these buttons share LinkedIn currently 100 000 sites. Dissemination of these buttons (we use them here on TechCrunch) helps fill in people's feeds into LinkedIn and creates another reason to visit the site. I wonder how many buttons, along with the launch of LinkedIn today (LinkedIn, social news product) last March have 83% jump in unique visitors. All of the publicity surrounding its IPO have helped as well.

The more that people go to LinkedIn, check out the latest news, the more they stick around and the more likely it is that they should be doing other things, income-how to find work or sign for the premium subscription. And the company turns a lot of dials. LinkedIn reported 121% revenue growth to $ 121 million in the quarter, and net earnings of $ 4.5 million.

Of course, we have seen the consequences of the separation of LinkedIn here on TechCrunch to the point where it is now more traffic source than Twitter.com. Their sharing buttons seems to also register the action much faster than Twitter (although I suspect that they expect a lot of retweets, since members can fill their LinkedIn accounts with their Twitter feeds, but they seem to be faster than the Twitter register these retweets and calling it a LinkedIn share).
